Easy And Healthy Chocolate Cookies Recipe

Ingredients for making 14 low-calorie chocolate chip cookies

  • 80 grams of fine oats
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 banana
  • 7 square pieces of dark chocolate
  • 3-4 teaspoons cocoa powder (you can add more if you want)
  • a pinch of salt

Directions

  • Beat the eggs in a bowl using a fork, or a mixer.
  • Chop the bananas into small pieces and add them to the eggs along with the fine oats.3
  • Chop the chocolate into small pieces, as well. Add it to the mixture.
  • Add the cocoa powder and the salt and whisk everything together.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).

The mixture has to be a bit runny, but mostly thick. You should be able to form cookies using a spoon. I covered the tray with baking paper in order not to use any oil at all.

Baking

Bake the cookies for about 10 to 15 minutes. You should bear in mind that they won’t become crunchy like the regular chocolate chip cookies. I sprinkled some chopped walnuts when I took them out of the oven but you can serve them with any nuts you like.

And that’s it! You now have a healthy chocolate dessert you can eat without any guilt.

Final Words

As I already mentioned the ingredients needed are very simple and can be found in every house’s fridge and cupboard. These low-calorie chocolate chip cookies are so good that even your children will love them. Remember that healthy doesn’t always mean boring and tasteless.
