Also, I can’t just give you an answer to this specific question and promise you instant results. No, that’s not how it works. This whole process requires time, effort, belief, and will power. It doesn’t happen overnight, and it’s definitely not easy to change your everyday unhealthy habits. But it’s absolutely possible! And you should believe in yourself. I know I do.

Living a healthy lifestyle is so important. If you just wake up, go to school or to work, eat, watch Netflix, and then go to sleep… well, you’re not really living your best life. You deserve so much more than this.

I hate to tell you this, but if you’re somehow indifferent to yourself and your life, you’ll not go far.

When you learn how to live a healthy lifestyle and change your life completely, you’ll feel so much better about yourself, your life, and everything that’s happening around you. Your energy levels will go up, your mood will improve drastically, and you’ll start to appreciate every tiny little thing.

Today I’ll share with you my absolute best healthy lifestyle tips that will help you change your life for good and believe me, after reading this you’ll never want to go back to your old unhealthy habits.

Shift Your Mindset

I’m sure some of you rolled your eyes after seeing the first one on my ‘healthy lifestyle tips’ list. You probably see this phrase all the time, and you’re literally sick of it. Because it’s so hard to shift your mindset! It’s literally impossible! How can you change the way you think?

Well, sorry to break it to you, but it’s possible, and anyone can do it. Including you.  Your mindset should be your best friend, not your biggest enemy. If you constantly doubt yourself and think that you’re incapable of doing anything, it’s time for a drastic change.


It will be hard, you’ll get mad, you’ll want to ditch this whole ‘mindset thing’ up, but you shouldn’t. And you want to know why? Because once you master the way you think, you can achieve anything you want in your life. I’m not saying that your life will be a real-life fairy tale. That’s not the case.

I’m saying that when you shift your mindset, you’ll shift the way you react to different events occurring in your life. For instance, if you fail at something, you won’t give up. Instead, you’ll feel more motivated than ever to succeed next time.

And this is just a single example. When you change the way you think, you’ll change the way you live. And this change will be so incredible.

Set Goals

If you want to know how to live a healthy lifestyle, you should know why you want to live a healthy lifestyle. Is it because you want to compete in a swimming race? Is it because you want to climb Mount Everest? Or is it because you just want to feel good?

Whatever the case, it’s good that you’ve realized how important a healthy lifestyle is.

Setting goals is absolutely crucial if you want to be happy and successful. This will make you more motivated, organized, and productive. If you have a goal you wish to accomplish, you’ll focus on it, and you’ll try to make small steps towards achieving it. And when you do it, there won’t be a happier person than you on this Earth.

Depending on your life, work, and your daily activities, your goal will be different from other people’s goals. For instance, you may want to work out four times a week. Or you may want to grow your blog traffic in 2 months. It doesn’t matter what your goal is, as long as it makes you feel good.

They don’t need to be grandiose. It may seem simple to some people, but to you, it may be something you struggle with. That’s why you shouldn’t care about people’s opinions. All you need to do is work on your goals.

People who are organized find it easier to complete their tasks. They don’t procrastinate, and they never fail to meet the deadline.



One of the most simple things you can do to be more organized is to make a planner or a bullet journal. Firstly, you need to write down your goals and your tasks. Then, you want to add some bullet points about how exactly you’re going to achieve them.

Believe me, when you have a planner, everything’s much easier. You’ll have a clear idea of what exactly needs to be done, and you won’t find yourself in situations where panic overwhelms you because you’ve forgotten about a certain task.

Another great benefit of having a planner or a bullet journal is the fact that your creativity levels will go up. There are so many cute designs you can try to recreate in your notebook, or you can even come up with your own idea.

Don’t Waste Your Time

Another important rule you need to follow, if you want to live a healthy lifestyle, is to never waste your time.

Spending your whole day scrolling through social media, or watching vlogs on YouTube, is not something you want to do. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with chilling for a bit and watching your favorite vlogger. That’s perfectly fine.

However, if you choose to do this all day long, instead of doing something useful, you need to change your daily routine. It’s much better if you spend your free time focusing on learning something new or practicing something you want to master.

Being productive will make you feel so much better about yourself, and you won’t feel like you’re wasting your time. There are so many productivity habits that you can easily acquire with consistency and patience.

Eat Good Food

Now, this one is super important to me. The saying ‘Good food means good mood.’ is not a lie. When you eat healthy and nutritious food, you feel so much more energized, productive, and happy.

When you master the ability to control your appetite and your cravings, you’ll be capable to achieve anything. As some of you know, I’ve struggled with weight-loss for many years, and establishing a healthy relationship with food has helped me remarkably.

During my weight-loss journey, I’ve found that eating healthy food has done wonders not only for my body but for my mind, as well.

To eat good food is definitely one of the best healthy lifestyle tips I can give you.



Surround Yourself With People Who Care About You

If you’re surrounded by the wrong people, it would be so much harder for you to succeed.

Your environment matters. If the people around you criticize you, don’t take you seriously, or simply don’t support you, this will surely affect your progress.

People who truly love you and care about you will try their best to help you. When you have such people in your life, everything is so much easier for you because you know that there is someone who believes in you and will always support you, no matter what.

We all know the meaning of a toxic person. And we all know that we don’t want anything toxic in our lives.

Take Care Of Yourself

If you want to live a healthy and happy life, you should learn to take care of yourself. Remember that self-care is not selfish. On the contrary, it’s absolutely necessary.

If you’re having a bad day, do something that will make you feel better. Take a hot bath, do your nails, read a good book, cook something nice. Basically, anything that will make you feel better.

Also, don’t be too hard on yourself. The world won’t end if you eat that whole package of chips, or if you don’t work out today. We all have moments when we just want to stay in bed and watch movies.

And if you start to appreciate and truly enjoy those moments, your life will be so much better. I promise.

Learn to Love And Appreciate Yourself

The last from my list of healthy lifestyle tips is closely related to the previous one. Not only should you take care of yourself, but you should also love yourself unconditionally!

When you acquire this important habit, your life will change forever. You’ll look at yourself in the mirror, and you won’t be able to hold your smile. When you accomplish a goal of yours you’ll be the proudest person alive. You’ll fail at something, and the thought of criticism won’t even cross your mind.

This last tip of mine is probably the most essential one. Self-love is so important, and it affects everything in our life. When you learn how to love yourself, you’ll become the absolute best in your eyes. Your confidence, mood, and attitude will change drastically.

And believe me, there’s no better feeling than loving and appreciating the person you are.

Using my time more wisely is something I’m trying to work on at the moment, I very easily get sucked into a hole of watching videos and loosing track of time
